Show me a better way.
I started out painting houses with College Pro from 2015 to 2017. I had a few of my own companies after that, and honestly, some of them did horribly. Then I started another painting company and built it. On January 1st, 2025, I joined Painter Growth as a partner.
In 2018 I sat a 10-day silent retreat. It's the most life-changing thing I've ever done. Between 2018 and 2023 I read 300 personal development books. In 2022 I found the breathwork I now facilitate.
And still, by August 2023, I was overwhelmed all the time. I remember getting on my knees, and at the time I didn't even use the word God, and saying: please, show me a better way.
“My life is like, before February 3rd, 2024, and life after. I got coached live, and in 15 minutes it was like I remembered who I was. Ever since then, God just keeps showing me a better and better way of doing things.”
The more my authentic self came out, the more hippie and woo-woo and spiritual I got, and I started talking about God and Jesus. I said, hey man, I'm just gonna be myself. And the leaders in the room have been mind-bogglingly open to it.
That's what my whole life has been about, trying to become a better human. I've messed up a lot, but we're getting better. And it starts with me, building a better human for me and my family first.
It's more like the voyage. I'm not coming at this like I have everything figured out. It's: here's where I'm at in my journey, here's some things that worked.

Try it · one question from the room
The question I ask a room of founders.
At the 2026 Inflection Mastermind, I led a meditation on facing your fear. Then I asked this:
“If I knew I could survive the thing I'm most afraid of, how would I operate differently today?”
“What does the life look like from a place of love?”
Sit with it for one minute before you read on. “You can create from love or from fear. To create from love, you must face your fear. You have a choice.”
Draw your own blueprints.
“Your life is always being designed. The only question is whether you're drawing your own blueprints or living inside someone else's.”
Most leaders inherit their operating system: beliefs, definitions of success, schedules, relationships with money, whole identities. It's not in your calendar or your goals. It lives underneath, running every decision you make. And you can't update an operating system you don't know is running.
So the work is to inspect it, shift your state, let go of what's done, and design the blueprint for who you're becoming. Then make that new life safe to live, so it actually holds.

- Spirit · God first. The question to ask yourself every single day: am I in alignment?
- Body · Serve your body, nourish your soul. You can't always think your way into a new state. Sometimes you have to move.
- Relationship · Pour into your relationship. The people closest to you feel the business first.
- Family & Legacy · Can the business you're envisioning actually produce the life you're envisioning?
- Leadership · Be the magnet that pulls people up. If you want your team at 100%, you'd better show up at 200%.
